Addiction Professionals
Precertification/Licensure
Training must be from an accredited university.
Continuing Education
12-25 hours every odd year from courses from a NAADAC approved provider like AllCEUs.
Marriage and Family Therapists
Accepted Approvals:
Continuing education activities directly relating to the theory and practice of professional counseling may be offered by departments of regionally-accredited institutions, by national, state or local professional organizations or associations, by public or private human services organizations, or by private consultants or individuals
Mental Health Counselors
Accepted Approvals:
Continuing education activities directly relating to the theory and practice of professional counseling may be offered by departments of regionally-accredited institutions, by national, state or local professional organizations or associations, by public or private human services organizations, or by private consultants or individuals
Social Workers
Accepted Approvals:
Appears to be at the discretion of the licensee but 15 hours must be LIVE. AllCEUs offers live webinars each Wednseday.
