Hardiness, Resilience and Relaxation Skills (4 Hours)
Objectives:
- Review the function of mindfulness and a variety of mindfulness techniques
- Explore the concept of relaxation
- Identify different methods of relaxation for the family
- Define resilience
- Identify characteristics of resilient
- Examine how hardiness can be used as a resiliency tool
- Explore ways to build all of these skills in ourselves, our family and our patients
