Objectives:

  • Review the principles of motivational enhancement
  • Apply the principles of motivational enhancement to the treatment of depression, anxiety, anger management/domestic violence, weight loss, smoking cessation, opiate use and employee supervision

  • Learn how to individualize motivational techniques based on temperament
