National Board for Certified Counselors

The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) was incorporated in 1982 to identify those counselors who have voluntarily sought and obtained certification and continuing education.

NBCC has approximately 42,000 certified counselors. These counselors live and work in the US and over 50 countries. NBCC focuses on promoting quality counseling through certification. In addition, NBCC promotes professional counseling to private and government organizations.  All CEUs is approved by NBCC to provide online continuing education and face-to-face trainings (Unlimited access for 12 months for $69.99).
